Cinnamon Roasted Chick Peas

  • canned chick pea

  • stevia/sweetener

  • salt

  • cinnamon

  • olive oil

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a cooking tray with parchment paper

  2. Rinse and drain chickpeas. Make sure they are dry before baking.

  3. Put chickpeas on baking sheet, bake for 15 minutes.

  4. In a bowl, mix stevia, cinnamon, and salt.

  5. Remove chickpeas from the oven, drizzle olive oil. Sprinkle on cinnamon mixture. Bake for another 15 minutes.

  6. Let cool. Store in airtight container. If you prepare a large batch with multiple servings, you may need to use multiple baking sheets as you don't want the chickpeas too squished together.
